15th Annual River City Mustang and All Ford Show

The Uftring Automall (Uftring Ford) is proud to host the 15th Annual River City Mustang and All Ford Show, Sunday September 14th from 8am to 3pm at the Uftring Automall. Rain or Shine, bring your classic Mustang or Ford and display to hundreds of automotive enthusiasts from Central Illinois. Cars are judged in a variety of classes, and dash plaques are awarded to the 1st 200 entries. Photo plaques and Best Of plaques are also awarded. Uftring "Get in Gear" Race and Tailgate Event - 2014

The Uftring Ambassador Initiative exists for the purpose of humanizing service through humanitarian acts of kindness, helping hands, open hearts, compassionate minds and philanthropic cooperative community partnerships.

With that in mind, The Uftring Auto Group is proud to announce the 2nd Annual Uftring Auto Group “Get in Gear” Race and Tailgate Event, at 2:00 p.m. on September 28, 2014 behind Uftring Chevrolet in Washington.  Proceeds benefit the Central Illinois Center for the Blind and Visually Impaired.

The event includes a 1 mile walk/run, 5K and 10K race and a post race tailgate party and awards presentation to top finishers.  Chef’s Catering will be cooking a whole hog and serving up pulled pork sandwiches for all participants.  In addition, the band Float Trip will be playing live music in our huge event tent.

Last year’s inaugural Get in Gear Race and Tailgate Event raised over $14,000 for the Center, which provides vital services and support to individuals facing the uncertainties and challenges related to uncorrectable vision loss.  The Center’s goal is to educate its members and provide them with independent living skills to optimize their opportunities to lead independent lives.

Many local sponsors have already committed their support to help support the Central Illinois Center for the Blind and Visually Impaired.  We look forward to a tremendous turnout on September 28th.

WGN 720 AM Radio to Broadcast Live from Uftring Chevrolet in Washington

 We have and exciting community update from Uftring Chevrolet in Washington Blog.

Uftring Chevrolet is excited to welcome WGN Radio to our showroom on Friday, August 22nd to celebrate the rebuilding of Washington. WGN 720 AM Radio has been very supportive of the entire Washington community in the days and months following the tornado that shook our town on November 17, 2013. Now, as the rebuilding and recovery efforts are progressing, the Steve Cochran Show is going to broadcast live from our showroom floor from 5 to 10am on Friday 8/22/14. In conjunction with the Washington Chamber of Commerce and Mayor Gary Manier, the show will focus on the rebuilding of Washington. Local guests will include many of our friends who have been working tirelessly since November 17th to help the city of Washington recover. Uftring Chevrolet is excited to welcome WGN to our great city, and the public is invited to watch the entire show. There will be audience seating available and we hope you will join us.

2014 Chevrolet Volt is a Top Safety Pick

The 2014 Chevrolet Volt just received the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety’s stamp of approval as the organizations Top Safety Pick +. Though the Volt’s 16-kilowatt-hour lithium-ion battery pack is heavy, the Volt was the only small car out of 12 with optional front crash prevention system.
