Iconic Trophy Makes Popular Appearance at Uftring Nissan in Peoria, IL

Uftring Nissan welcomed the most prestigious award in college football to their dealership on Allen Road in Peoria this past weekend. The Heisman Trophy was on display Friday, November 4th and Saturday, November 5th. Customers, friends and fans of college football visited the dealership and posed for a photograph with The Heisman Trophy. This was the actual Heisman Trophy, made from the official mold.

Joe Phillips, General Manager at Uftring Nissan, was excited to welcome sports fans from across Central Illinois to the dealership for this unique opportunity. “Nissan is one of The Heisman Trophy’s major sponsors and made the trophy available to select Nissan dealers,” he said. “When we found out there was a chance to bring the trophy to Peoria, I immediately submitted Uftring Nissan’s name for consideration. Fortunately, we were one of very few dealers selected in the state of Illinois.” Mr. Phillips continued, “We encouraged sports fans to bring their families and friends to Uftring Nissan when The Heisman Trophy was displayed. Our team is always excited to welcome new people to the dealership.”
