Jeep fans, get excited! The all-new (yes, all-new) redesigned 2018 Jeep Wrangler is here! For the first time in 11 years, this crowd-favorite SUV has some substantial changes. No need to panic, however. The Wrangler still stands out. And it still has all of the qualities that make it a Jeep.

So, what's new with this dynamic vehicle? For starters, this is the first Wrangler that's available as a hybrid, or eTorque, as it's labeled. This newly redesigned Jeep can, in fact, be equipped with a 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine with electric motor assist.

You might be thinking that such a change like a hybrid engine might hurt the Wrangler's off-road capability. However, the lightweight aluminum body panels and high-strength steel frame would like to argue otherwise. These materials bring the Wrangler's overall weight down a couple hundred pounds, which more than benefits the eTorque update. So, no need to worry about hitting the hills or taking on the rough terrain. The all-new 2018 Jeep Wrangler can handle it.

In addition to the frame material getting an upgrade, you'll notice some changes to the body itself. The seven-slot grille has received the slightest of makeovers, incorporating the round headlights to mesh with them, creating a new twist on two classic features. Other than that, the grill itself has a more defined curve, and the low front bumper has wide, LED lights attached. Both features provide a more aerodynamic and modern look that is sure to please Jeep fans everywhere. You'll still recognize it as a Wrangler, but you'll be pleased with its facelift.

The rooftop options on the 2018 Wrangler are now easier than ever to convert with lighter panels and slip-in, spring-assisted fabrics. And, if you really wish to make things easier on yourself, there's even a power-sliding fabric top option. No more stopping to get out when you feel a raindrop or two. Whatever your preference may be, there is sure a lot to choose from on the 2018 Jeep Wrangler.

Even the inside of all-new Wrangler has some exciting updates. From new, colored accents to stitched upholstery and real metal trim, sleek is the idea of this Jeep. We all know the Challenger is a real head-turner without these sweet additions . . . but now it's turned into something much more sinister and breathtaking. Hot New Jeep and Saab Models

Things have been heating up this summer at Uftring Auto Group stores. Two of our dealerships, Uftring Chrysler Dodge Jeep in Pekin and Uftring Chevy Saab in Washington, are receiving some high profile vehicles in their showrooms. The Jeep Grand Cherokee and the Saab 9-5 are impressive new vehicles. Both have been redesigned this year, and they look nothing less than stellar. We are more than happy to have them in our stores!

At the Uftring Pekin Chrysler Dodge Jeep dealership, the brand new 2011 Jeep Grand Cherokee rolled in on Thursday evening, driven from Chicago by Mr. Gary Uftring himself. This vehicle is receiving a lot of praise from the press for its redesign. It looks a lot more mature and modern than the previous Grand Cherokee, has more room inside, is armed to the teeth with technology, has award winning safety features, and comes with a great standard setup and a lot of upgrade options. It's equally at home crossing the road in the city or the stream in the forest. We'll have a full assortment of these vehicles in stock at Uftring Pekin in the near future, and we'll keep you informed about when we'll have them on the lot. Over in Washington, Uftring Chevy Saab will soon be the proud recipient of a 2011 Saab 9-5. This is the first car to be released since Saab's ownership under Spyker Cars. One look at the Saab 9-5 will tell you that the new owners mean business. Spyker is driving Saab into a new era that looks extremely promising, with more redesigns, revivals, and new models due in the next few years. The new Saab 9-5 is the first taste of what's in store. It's clearly inspired by Saab's jet heritage, with sleek angles and a fierce stance that looks like its about to takeoff. Piloting one of these cars would be no less thrilling. It has a V6 engine that comes in at just under 300 horsepower. It's also very safe with 8 airbags and large 18-inch wheels for greater traction. We are excited to announce our newest location – Uftring Chrysler-Dodge-Jeep in North Pekin. Negotiations with Joe O’Brien to purchase the former O’Brien Dodge Chrysler Jeep of North Pekin concluded on February 12th.

The return of the Jeep franchise is especially exciting for us, as we were long known for our Jeep sales and service expertise. The former Uftring Jeep serviced and sold more Jeep vehicles than any dealership in the area and was popular with Jeep enthusiasts throughout Central Illinois. We are really looking forward to getting back in the Jeep business and providing the same level of outstanding service and customer commitment.

Uftring Chrysler-Dodge-Jeep is located at 140 Radio City Drive in North Pekin, on Route 29 just south of I-474. The facility is newly reconditioned with Wi-Fi, refurnished spacious lounges and an accessory store. Currently, there are 21 sales, service and parts employees. In the future, we anticipate creating additional jobs as the dealership grows. The facility is now open to customers, with an official Grand Opening to follow.
